    Position Summary

    We’re looking for a socially conscious, organized, and creative Volunteer Social Media Coordinator to help us grow and engage our online community. This role will support the promotion of our podcast RJRP: A Resilient Fire, short video series Resilience in Action, and other campaigns aligned with our mission.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan and schedule posts across Instagram, Threads, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, BlueSky, and YouTube.
    • Write engaging captions and select visuals that align with RJRP’s voice and values.
    • Work with the podcast/video production to promote new content.
    • Support the creation of simple graphics or coordinate with the graphic designer.
    • Track engagement and suggest content improvements based on analytics.
    • Research and incorporate relevant hashtags and trending content.
    • Attend monthly team check-ins (virtual) and collaborate on campaign calendars.

    Ideal Candidate

    • Passionate about reproductive justice and storytelling.
    • Familiar with content creation, post scheduling tools, and social media trends.
    • Comfortable writing captions and content for a diverse, women-of-color-centered audience.
    • Organized, reliable, and able to manage a flexible monthly content schedule.
    • Previous social media experience (paid, volunteer, or personal project) is a plus.
