Volunteer Judge – Florida BPA State Leadership Conference

Serve as a volunteer judge at the Florida Business Professionals of America State Leadership Conference, where more than 600 middle school, high school, and college students from across Florida compete in business-related events.

Judges play a key role in evaluating presentations, résumés, interviews, entrepreneurship pitches, financial analyses, marketing campaigns, technology solutions, and more.

No prior BPA experience required — training is provided.

This is an impactful way to help Florida students build confidence, gain professional feedback, and prepare for future careers.

Responsibilities

• Review student presentations or written materials
• Score using provided rubrics
• Provide constructive, encouraging feedback
• Attend a brief judge orientation (virtual or onsite)
• Maintain professionalism and fairness

• A business professional, educator, community leader, or college student
• Someone who enjoys mentoring youth
• Comfortable evaluating presentations or reviewing work
• Looking for a meaningful, skill-aligned volunteer experience
