Girls and Literature is a non-profit organization devoted to improving educational opportunities for girls around the world. We believe that every girl deserves the same opportunities to receive an education, regardless of her background, and that her background should never be a barrier on her journey toward fulfilling her dreams.

Our organization donates books, provides mentorship programs, and offers a pen pal program to girls globally to help accomplish our overall mission. GAL has impacted girls in over 30 countries, particularly in areas where illiteracy is more prominent, and has reached over 5,000 girls.

We are currently recruiting someone who is capable of overseeing and coordinating the activities of the organization. Their main responsibilities involve checking to see if goals and targets are being met, staying in contact with others to ensure everything is running, and helping keep the organization on track. They also provide alternative methods, ideas, and suggestions for completing tasks more effectively.
