About Maple Counseling
Founded in 1972, Maple Counseling is a nonprofit community mental health center dedicated to making mental health services accessible to all. We offer a wide range of programs — from individual and family therapy to community wellness initiatives — and rely on passionate community members to help us spread the word.
About the Role
As a Community Outreach Volunteer, you'll be the face of Maple Counseling in the neighborhoods we serve. You'll help us connect more Angelenos to the mental health resources they need by sharing information about our programs, engaging with community members at local events, and building visibility for our work across Los Angeles.
What You'll Do
- Table at community events and health fairs, engaging the public and answering questions about Maple Counseling's programs
- Distribute flyers and outreach materials at local businesses and key community locations in target neighborhoods
- Share information about Maple's available services and how community members can access them
- Serve as an enthusiastic ambassador for Maple Counseling's mission

- Enjoy connecting with people and representing an organization you believe in
- Are reliable, friendly, and comfortable working independently in the field
Time Commitment
Flexible; we welcome volunteers who can commit to regular outreach shifts or occasional event-based engagements.
