Volunteer Webmaster/Digital coordinator

NORA is a Danish-Malagasy non-profit operating on Ile Sainte Marie, Madagascar. We build school kitchens, run school lunch programs, install solar lighting in off-grid villages, and work with a circular economy approach on the east coast of the island. We are on the ground full time, and we are growing.

To strengthen our digital presence, we are looking for a volunteer Webmaster / Digital Coordinator for approximately 2–4 hours per week, fully remote and fully flexible.

You will be building something from scratch - not taking over a finished setup. Your tasks will include:

→ SEO: building an SEO strategy and structure from the ground up

→ Google Analytics: setup and ongoing monitoring

→ Wordpress/Elementor: ongoing maintenance, optimization, and development of new pages

→ Donation solutions: helping develop and implement digital donation flows

→ Site audits using Ahrefs (free version)

Who are you?

You have experience or a background in web development or digital communication - students and recent graduates are very welcome. You are comfortable with Wordpress and Elementor, have an understanding of SEO and Google Analytics, and you are not afraid to start from scratch. You can work independently without close supervision.
