Dispatcher - St. Louis

The Dispatcher Role helps see supplies are transported throughout their area (in this case the SL Region).

The Dispatchers first task will assist seeing petitions needing curing (correcting) reach the Gatherers/Notaries that need to make the corrections.

You are supporting the Logistics Coordinator and during the curing process also the Region Field Director (RFD), not carrying the system alone.

What You’ll Do

• For the Curing Process:
  • Offer to help the RFD during any Curing or Notary Events taking place that involve curing of petitions.
  • As the Field Department communicates with Gatherers/Notaries, finding they might not be able to connect with them at their events, their department may reach out for assistance. At that time a Driver should be found to drive the petitions to the home of the Gatherer/Notary for correction.
  • Possibly assist checking that the petitions have both been received at their destination and arrive successfully back at the St. Louis City office.
• Help Coordinate Supply transport throughout the Region.
• As Needed go to the St. Louis City office to gather Supplies together.

What Success Looks Like

• Petitions get successfully to and from Locations during the Curing Process.
• Drivers in the Region wanting Local Driving, feel like they have ways to Help.
• Supplies are successfully transported to the Locations in the Region needing them.
• Supplies are together and ready to be picked up from Drivers at the St. Louis City office.

This role has steady activity, at times varying in volume. Due to this, Dispatch is looking to have this Role fulfilled by 2 Volunteers. The Volunteers will also be assisted as needed by the Logistics Coordinator.
