We are seeking an Intake Coordinator to support the front end of the rescue and adoption process. This role involves reviewing initial inquiries and applications, conducting initial phone screenings with potential adopters or partners, and coordinating next steps with the rescue team.
This is an ongoing, remote role requiring approximately 2–4 hours per week. Prior experience working with animals in a rescue, shelter, or animal welfare setting is required. Reliability and follow-through are essential, as this role supports time-sensitive intake decisions.
Volunteers must have access to their own working phone and a computer with reliable internet access. Equipment and internet service are not provided by the rescue.
Phone screenings must be conducted within reasonable daytime hours; volunteers must have general availability between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM Pacific Time to make and receive intake calls.
