Make a Difference When It Matters Most

We are seeking compassionate, kind-hearted individuals to join our hospice team as Direct Patient Care Volunteers. In this deeply meaningful role, you’ll provide comfort, connection, and support to individuals facing a terminal illness—as well as their families and caregivers.

Sometimes, the smallest gestures leave the greatest impact. A conversation, a shared laugh, or simply being present can bring comfort during life’s most challenging moments.

What You’ll Do

As a volunteer, you’ll offer non-medical support through simple but powerful acts of kindness, such as:

• Providing companionship and a listening ear
• Sharing activities like reading, playing games, or writing letters
• Giving caregivers a much-needed break to rest or take care of daily tasks
• Helping with light household tasks like watering plants, walking pets, washing dishes, or taking out the trash

What to Expect

• Flexible scheduling—you choose times that work for you
• Visits typically last about one hour
• No medical experience required
• No hands-on personal care responsibilities (such as bathing, medication, or lifting)
