The Connectedness Program supports those experiencing isolation and loneliness. The Connectedness Caller position offers volunteers the opportunity to reach out to home-bound individuals, reducing isolation and improving their mental wellness. We provide training, a script, and ongoing support and education. These calls serve as a check-in and a friendly hello to those who can't get out and about. We are seeking individuals who are
- Interested in people and the ability to converse with all kinds of people.
- Have good listening skills.
- Are detailed oriented - documentation of all calls and topics covered is required.
- Have the ability to keep a conversation going, if needed
