Common Good is seeking passionate, experienced professionals to join our Board of Directors and help shape the next chapter of our organization's growth.

About Common Good

Common Good is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening communities by bringing people, businesses, and nonprofit organizations together to create opportunities for shared prosperity.

Through fiscal sponsorship, community development, financial empowerment, and collaborative partnerships, we support individuals and organizations working to make a positive difference in their communities.

As we expand our programs, strengthen our technology platform, and develop new partnerships, we are seeking Board members who can contribute their experience, ideas, and professional networks to support our long-term mission.

Who We Are Looking For

We welcome individuals with professional experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Finance, accounting, and banking
• Nonprofit law, governance, and compliance
• Technology, software development, and digital innovation
• Fundraising, philanthropy, and grant development
• Business leadership, strategic planning, and community development

Previous nonprofit Board experience is welcome but is not required. We value individuals who bring sound judgment, a collaborative spirit, a commitment to ethical leadership, and a genuine interest in community impact.

Board Member Responsibilities

• Participate in Board meetings and organizational planning.
• Provide strategic guidance and oversight to support Common Good's mission and long-term sustainability.
• Contribute professional expertise to organizational growth and development.
• Support fundraising, partnerships, and community engagement through appropriate introductions and advocacy.
• Help strengthen organizational governance, financial accountability, and responsible stewardship of resources.
• Serve as an ambassador for Common Good and the communities we support.

Position Details

This is a volunteer, unpaid Board position. Meetings may be attended virtually, allowing participation from qualified candidates throughout the United States.
