Love My Neighbor Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness by providing [services such as groceries, meals, clothes and hygiene products. We believe in the power of community, compassion, and dignity for all. Social media plays a critical role in educating the public, engaging supporters, and advocating for the people we serve.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a creative and passionate Social Media Content Volunteer to help us build awareness, engage our audience, and grow our online presence. You’ll work closely with our outreach team to create impactful content that tells the story of our work and the people we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and schedule social media posts (images, graphics, captions, stories, etc.) for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
• Assist in developing content calendars for campaigns and awareness days (e.g., Homelessness Awareness Week)

Qualifications:

• Passion for social justice and serving people experiencing homelessness
• Experience using major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
• Strong writing and visual storytelling skills
• Experience with Canva or other design tools (preferred but not required)
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Basic understanding of brand voice and messaging
• Animation is a plus, but not required.
