Join Our Special Olympics Committee!
Special Olympics New Hanover County is seeking passionate community members to join our local committee and help create more opportunities for athletes through sports, competition, and community involvement.
We are currently looking to fill several volunteer leadership roles:
⭐ Fundraising Chair – HIGH PRIORITY
Help identify and recruit local businesses, organizations, and community partners to provide sponsorships and financial support for our athletes and programs.
📅 Event Management Chair
Help coordinate and support competitions, fundraisers, and other Special Olympics events.
🙋 Volunteer Recruitment Chair
Help grow our volunteer team by connecting with individuals, businesses, schools, and community organizations.
📣 Marketing Chair
Help tell our story! Support social media, community outreach, event promotion, and awareness of Special Olympics programs and opportunities.
No Special Olympics experience is required. We’re looking for people who are enthusiastic, dependable, connected to their community, and ready to make a difference.
