Volunteer Opportunity: Google Ads Manager
Mass Farmers Markets
Mass Farmers Markets (MFM) is looking for a volunteer with experience in Google Ads to help us make the most of our nonprofit Google Ad Grant. Through this program, MFM receives up to $10,000 per month in Google Ads credits, and we’re seeking someone who can help us build and manage campaigns that connect more people with farmers markets across Massachusetts.
In this role, you would work with our marketing team to set up, optimize, and manage Google Ads campaigns that promote our farmers markets, programs that increase food access, and educational resources. Responsibilities include developing a strategy for how to allocate the monthly ad spend, creating campaigns and keywords, monitoring performance, and making adjustments to improve reach and impact. We anticipate this would take approximately 2–3 hours per week, with flexibility around scheduling. We’ll provide brand guidelines, messaging, and marketing assets to support the work.
Mass Farmers Markets is a nonprofit that supports and strengthens farmers markets across Massachusetts, helping connect communities with local farms, fresh food, and programs that make healthy food more accessible. With more than 200 markets across the state, our work helps farmers thrive, strengthens local economies, and ensures families have access to fresh, local food. Your help would directly support this mission by expanding our reach and bringing more people to markets.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has experience with Google Ads (or strong familiarity and willingness to learn more)
• Is comfortable creating and managing campaigns and tracking analytics
• Is interested in supporting local agriculture, food access, and community markets
