Help Bridge the Digital Divide for Older Adults

digitalLIFT is looking for compassionate volunteers to teach older adults basic tech skills like connecting with their friends online, joining video calls, and finding trustworthy information online.

What You’ll Do:

• Teach seniors how to use their phones, tablets, or computers.
• Help them access vital services like telehealth or transportation.
• Show them how to connect with family and friends online.
• Encourage them to explore hobbies and lifelong learning.

What You’ll Need:

• Comfort using iOS, Android, Windows, and/or MacOS.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain tech simply.
• Fluency in English and a patient, supportive attitude.

We’ll provide:

• Full training
• Easy-to-follow guides
• Ongoing support

Time Commitment:

1-2 hours per session, weekdays between 9 AM-4 PM (some Saturday shifts available). Volunteer remotely or at one of our Bay Area partner sites.
