Descrição
The Williams-Boltwood House Trust is seeking a reliable, organized individual to serve as a pro bono Administrative Assistant for approximately 2–3 hours per week.
This is a flexible volunteer position supporting the ongoing preservation, research, and programming work of the Williams-Boltwood House, an important historic property in Goshen, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities may include taking notes during staff meetings, organizing digital and paper files, assisting with correspondence and administrative records, helping prepare newsletters and other written materials, and supporting occasional special projects.
This position would be especially well suited to someone interested in history, historic preservation, archives, nonprofit administration, public history, communications, or museum work. It offers an opportunity to gain meaningful hands-on experience with an active historic preservation organization and to add relevant professional experience to a résumé.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable working independently, and able to maintain clear records. Strong writing and computer skills would be helpful.
Time commitment is approximately 2–3 hours per week, with some flexibility in scheduling. Some work may be completed remotely, although attendance at meetings or work at the Williams-Boltwood House may be helpful.
