📽️ TikTok Content Creator at Happy Cats Haven 📲

Lights, camera, cats! Happy Cats Haven is seeking a creative, tech-savvy volunteer to become our dedicated TikTok Content Creator. If you're passionate about social media storytelling, love cats, and want to help us reach a whole new generation of animal lovers, this is your chance to make viral magic while saving lives!

About the Role:

As our TikTok Content Creator volunteer, you'll be the creative force behind our TikTok presence, capturing the adorable, funny, and heartwarming moments that make our cats irresistible. You'll help us connect with younger audiences, increase engagement, and ultimately find more forever homes for our adoptable cats through the power of short-form video content.

Responsibilities:

• Visit the shelter once a week to film engaging video content of our cats and shelter activities
• Create and post a minimum of 3 TikTok videos per week showcasing our adoptable cats, behind-the-scenes moments, and rescue stories
• Develop creative concepts that align with current TikTok trends while highlighting our mission
• Edit videos using TikTok's native tools or other editing apps to create polished, engaging content
• Write compelling captions and use relevant hashtags to maximize reach and engagement
• Monitor comments and engage with our TikTok community in a positive, brand-appropriate manner
• Track performance metrics and adjust content strategy to grow followers and engagement
• Collaborate with our Social Media Team to ensure consistent messaging across platforms
• Stay current on TikTok trends, sounds, and best practices to keep our content fresh and relevant

Preferred Skills (bonus but not necessary):

• Experience creating content for TikTok or other short-form video platforms
• Video editing skills and familiarity with editing apps (CapCut, InShot, etc.)
• Understanding of TikTok algorithm, trends, and best practices
• Photography and videography skills
• Creative storytelling ability
• Knowledge of social media analytics
• Experience with cats or animal behavior (helpful for capturing great moments!)
