    Descrição

Board Member on the Resource Development Committee (Development Role to Treasurer)

Leaders of Today and Tomorrow (LOTT) ignites women to lead with confidence. When women are ignited to lead with confidence, their leadership will build stronger, more equitable communities that will transform the world. We advance women’s leadership by inspiring emerging leaders through an intensive fellowship where emerging women leaders are matched with mentors and attend workshops led by local women leaders.

The Leaders of Today and Tomorrow (LOTT) is an active and volunteer-only run organization. We rely on volunteers who generously give time, expertise, talent, and enthusiasm to make the program happen; they are crucial to the structure and success of the organization. We are seeking a volunteer to join our Board of Directors as a Board Member on the Resource Development Committee. This is a pipeline position so once your term as a Board Member on the Resource Development Committee is over (1-2 years), you would move into the position of Treasurer. If you have experience in Finance plus a strong desire to support women’s leadership in the Twin Cities, please apply.

The Resource Development Committee is responsible for ensuring the organization has the financial resources necessary to fulfill its mission. This committee focuses on fundraising strategies, identifying potential donors, and cultivating relationships with key supporters. They may oversee grant writing, fundraising events, and donor stewardship programs, all aimed at securing both short-term and long-term funding.

    • Be informed and meet all legal and fiduciary obligations.
    • Regularly review outcomes, evaluate impact, and measure performance and effectiveness of LOTT programs and activities.
    • Be willing to develop, maintain, and build a resource network for Twin Cities women. Use this network to help LOTT meet its goals.
    • Assist in identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new board members.
