Accentcare Hospice Friendly Visitors are an integral part of the hospice team. They have the opportunty to make a profound difference in the qualitu of life for individuals who are facing terminal illness.

Friendly visitors or Direct Patient Care Volunteers enrich the lives of patints by providing emtional support and companionship for the patient and their families within their home residence.

Volunteers can help in varios ways through compassionate listening, reading, listening to music, making crafts, helping patients make a legacy project, watching movies, and more. Volunteers also help fring comfort to the family by being an enderstanding presence.

Friendly Visitors or Direct patients Care Volunteers have direct patient contact and will need to complete AccentCre volunteer training, have valid identificaon,, successfully pass a background check, complete a TB Test/health assessment.
