Position Overview
The Secretary is a key officer of the League of Women Voters Denver (LWVD), responsible for ensuring accurate records of board meetings.
Responsibilities
- Record and distribute accurate minutes for Board and Annual Meetings.
- Track motions, votes, and board actions for continuity.
- Fulfills the responsibilities of a member of the Board of Directors.
Qualifications
- Committed to nonpartisan, equity and nonprofit organizational goals of the League of Women voters of Denver: empowering voters and defending democracy.
- Strong listening, organizational and writing skills
- Reliability, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
- Ability to attend monthly board meetings (in person or virtually).
