Role Overview
We warmly welcome doctors, nurses, medical students, physiotherapists, massage therapists, and alternative health practitioners to join our clinic team. As a Health Volunteer, you will support both clinical care and holistic wellbeing initiatives in a community-based setting. This is a meaningful opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to an integrative approach to health.
🛠 Responsibilities
Depending on your qualifications and level of training, you may assist with:
- Supporting or conducting basic health check-ups and patient consultations
- Assisting with triage, patient intake, and clinic flow
- Providing physiotherapy support, rehabilitation exercises, or mobility care
- Offering massage therapy or bodywork where appropriate
- Supporting alternative or holistic health practices (as aligned with the clinic)
- Providing health education to individuals and families
- Organizing workshops on hygiene, nutrition, prevention, and wellbeing
- Assisting with clinic organization, inventory, and documentation
- Collaborating respectfully and ethically with local staff
🎓 Skills & Requirements
- Open to licensed professionals, students, and practitioners in:
- medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, massage therapy, public health, psychology, nutrition, or alternative health fields
- Experience in clinical, therapeutic, or community health settings is a plus
- Respect for local culture and commitment to ethical, patient-centered care
- Spanish or willingness to learn basic Spanish
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and responsible volunteering
⏳ Time Commitment
- Minimum stay: 2 weeks
- Schedule: mo-fr, 9-12 hrs and 14-17 hrs.
