Juneteenth Day of Service – Keisha’s Closet & KC Haberdashery Refresh
Join us on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. for our annual Juneteenth Day of Service at Connections to Success, Dress for Success Keisha’s Closet.
This year's project will focus on a boutique refresh of Dress for Success Keisha’s Closet and KC Haberdashery, our men's professional clothing area. Volunteers will assist with light decorating, signage installation, hanging artwork, organizing décor, refreshing displays, and general beautification of these spaces.
This special day of service honors the memory of Keisha Clay, our Keisha’s Closet honorary, volunteer, and advocate for helping others. June 19th marks both Juneteenth and the anniversary of Keisha’s passing. In keeping with her spirit of service, kindness, and empowerment, we gather each year to give back and create welcoming spaces that inspire confidence, dignity, and opportunity for the individuals we serve.
Volunteer Activities May Include:
- Hanging signs, artwork, and décor
- Boutique and dressing room refresh projects
- Display styling and organization
- Light cleaning and beautification
- KC Haberdashery refresh and updates
- General volunteer support as needed
VOLUNTEERS CAN SELECT 2-4 HOUR TIME SLOTS TO WORK IF DESIRED
No special skills are required. Volunteers should be comfortable standing, lifting light décor items, and working collaboratively as part of a team.
Thank you for helping us honor Keisha’s legacy through service while creating beautiful, empowering spaces for our clients.
