Tabling Volunteers represent the Conservancy at community events by setting up and staffing outreach booths. They welcome visitors, share information about our mission and programs, and encourage new members and supporters to get involved.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport outreach materials, folding tables, and tent to and from events (if able).
- Set up and break down booth displays, ensuring materials are organized and inviting.
- Engage with event attendees in a friendly and approachable way.
- Share key talking points about the Conservancy’s mission, membership, and volunteer opportunities.
- Answer basic questions or direct more detailed inquiries to staff.
Track visitor sign-ups and feedback for follow-up.
Skills & Qualities
- Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with new people.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Able to lift and carry 10 to 25 lbs
- Driver’s license and access to a vehicle to transport booth materials is a plus.
- Passion for conservation and community engagement.
Support Provided
- Training on Conservancy programs and outreach materials.
- All supplies provided by the Conservancy.
Guidance and check-ins from Conservancy staff and/or the Tabling Lead.
