Those Who Can, Do - Those Who Can Do More, Volunteer
Hope Health Care provides high-quality "whole-istic" hospice care for patients in the Dallas, Collin, Rockwall, Hunt and Kaufman counties, in either the home or facility setting.
We are in need of Spanish speaking volunteers who can provide companionship to our Spanish-speaking patients.
TIME COMMITMENT: 1 to 2 hour a week. Any time you can volunteer to provide some companionship to a patient is greatly needed and appreciated.
LOCATION: Serve in your community. We strive to match you with a patient that resides in our near your community so that your drive time is as little as possible.
NO HOSPICE EXPERIENCE NECESSARY: Have the heart to serve but new to hospice? Rest assured you will receive all the training necessary to become a competent and confident hospice volunteer!

REQUIREMENTS FOR VOLUNTEERING:
- Volunteers must be 18 or over;
- Must have a valid Texas driver's license;
- Must have valid auto liability insurance;
- For Pet Partner Volunteers: Have up-to-date pet vaccination records and certification/valid membership with a national pet therapy organization;
- Must be able to clear background checks;
- Must be able to clear a drug screen;
- Submit to TB testing;
- Must have a heart to serve terminally ill patients and their families;
- If you have experienced a significant loss, we recommend that you wait 12 months before volunteering so that you can have the proper amount of time to mourn, grieve and heal from your loss.
