About the Role:

We are seeking a Volunteer Lead for our Mental Health & Resilience Pillar to guide programs promoting emotional wellbeing, resilience, and mental health awareness among youth and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee all programs under the Mental Health & Resilience Pillar

Mentor and guide Coordinators and volunteers

Plan workshops, peer support groups, and awareness campaigns

Ensure programs align with AVET’s mission and Christ-centered values

Report progress and impact to the Founder / President

Represent the pillar in organizational meetings

Qualifications / Skills:

Passion for mental health, youth wellbeing, or counseling support

Leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and facilitation skills

Experience in peer support, mental health awareness, or counseling preferred

Commitment to AVET’s mission and values

Time Commitment:

Flexible; includes weekly planning, program oversight, and workshop scheduling
