Help make a difference in someone's day! Volunteers support our program staff by engaging participants in fun, meaningful one-on-one or small group activities, such as:
- Arts & Crafts
- Puzzles, Card Games & Bingo
- Outdoor Games, such as Horseshoes, Mini-Golf & Beanbag Toss
Do you love bringing joy to others? Join our Activities Team and help make each day brighter for our patients living with Alzheimer’s or another dementia! As an Activity Assistant Volunteer, you’ll help plan, prep, and participate in group activities like music, art, games, and exercise — supporting meaningful moments of laughter and connection.
When you can help:
🗓️ Monday–Friday
🕒 9:00 am to 3:00 p.m.
We ask for a commitment of one 2-hour shift per week — but don’t worry, we understand life happens! Absences for illness, vacation, or appointments can be accommodated.
We’re looking for volunteers who have:
💜 Enthusiasm and a friendly spirit
😂 A sense of humor
⏰ Patience and reliability
✨ A consistent schedule
Minimum age: 15 years old
(An interest in working with older adults is appreciated but not required!)
All volunteers will participate in an interview and orientation to ensure the best fit. You’ll be supported by our Activity Coordinators and staff who will guide you every step of the way.
