About the Opportunity

WSPEC is looking for a creative and motivated Video Content Creator to help bring our organization’s work, mission, and stories to life through engaging video content.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their portfolio, gain hands-on experience working with an organization, and have creative input on content that will be used across WSPEC’s digital platforms.

What You’ll Do

As a Video Content Creator, you will work with our team to develop polished and engaging video content for social media, outreach, organizational initiatives, and other digital platforms.

Responsibilities may include:

• Edit short-form and long-form video content
• Create engaging videos for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
• Turn raw footage into polished, professional content
• Add captions, transitions, graphics, music, and other visual elements
• Repurpose existing content into shorter clips for social media
• Collaborate with our social media, marketing, and communications team on content ideas
• Help maintain a consistent visual style across WSPEC video content
• Provide creative input on storytelling, pacing, and presentation
• Organize and manage video assets and project files

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Experience with video editing or digital content creation
• Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar software
• A strong sense of visual storytelling and attention to detail
• An understanding of current social media video trends and formats
• The ability to work independently and meet agreed-upon deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Previous professional experience is not required. Students, recent graduates, aspiring content creators, and individuals building their portfolios are encouraged to apply.
