We are looking for compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Patient Care Volunteers for hospice. This role provides invaluable non-medical support to patients living with a terminal illness, as well as their caregivers and families. Volunteers have the unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference through simple yet impactful acts of kindness and connection.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Offering companionship and a listening ear.
• Engaging in social activities such as reading, playing games, or writing letters.
• Providing caregiver relief so family members can rest or run errands.
• Assisting with light household tasks, such as watering plants, walking pets, washing dishes, or emptying trash.

What to Expect:

• Volunteers create their own schedules, with visits typically lasting up to 2 hours.
• No medical background is needed-our volunteers do not perform any medical or personal care tasks (e.g., giving baths, assisting with medication, or transferring patients).
