Everyone needs a friend

Gentiva Hospice is looking for individuals to give comfort and support to those with terminal illness. Volunteers are a vital part of the hospice care team. As a Volunteer you may chat with your patient, read a book or poem, play familiar music from your mobile device, give family caregiver a break, or just hold the hand of someone's who is bed-bound. Patients receiving Hospice services reside either at home or in an assisted living or nursing home.

Volunteers are trained, supported and overseen by Volunteer Manager.

A 6 month commitment is requested. We understand that life is busy, we want to work together to accommodate your schedule!
