School Tour Volunteers

Volunteers are needed to help with school tours (mostly 3rd Grade) at the San Dieguito Heritage Museum (Heritage Ranch) in Encinitas. Volunteers do fun activities with the children including making butter, bartering, and making sand paintings. Trained docents also give tours of the museum. Training is given, and volunteers will be supervised by experienced docents. School tours take place between 9:00 and 11:30 on school days during the school year. Typically there are 1-2 tours a week, but you can volunteer as often or seldom as your schedule allows. Come and join us!
