Volunteer & Board Member Opportunities

Paws Pantry Network is a grassroots community initiative serving families, seniors, rescues, and community animals throughout Sacramento County and Placer County. Our mission is to help keep pets fed, healthy, and safely with the people who love them during times of financial hardship by providing free pet food and essential supplies.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking compassionate, reliable volunteers and dedicated individuals interested in helping us officially transition into a registered nonprofit organization. This is an opportunity to make a direct impact in the local community while helping shape the future of an organization focused on preventing pet surrender and supporting both owned and community animals.

Volunteer Opportunities Include:

• Assisting with pet food and supply distribution events
• Organizing and sorting donated items
• Helping with donation drives and community outreach
• Social media, marketing, and fundraising support
• Transporting donations or supplies when needed
• Supporting local rescues and caregivers with resources
• Nonprofit development
• Fundraising &/or grant writing
• Community outreach
• Event planning

Seeking Potential Board Members

We are also looking for motivated individuals interested in serving as founding board members as we work toward nonprofit status. Ideal candidates are passionate about animal welfare and community service and may have experience in:

• President
• Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
• Secretary

Prior board experience is not required — just a willingness to help build something meaningful for pets and families in need.

Time Commitment
