As a part-time administrative assistant for 2 Care for Me Outreach, your duties may vary depending on the size and scope of the organization, but they commonly include: Start Date: March/April
- **Answering Emails**: Managing incoming calls and emails, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff members, and providing general information about the organization's activities and services.
- **Scheduling and Calendar Management**: Coordinating appointments, meetings, and events for staff members, and volunteers. This may involve using scheduling software, arranging meeting spaces, and sending out reminders. Using Teams and Zoom.
- **Correspondence and Communication**: Drafting and editing correspondence such as thank-you letters, newsletters, and grant proposals. This may also involve maintaining the organization's social media accounts and website.
- **Volunteer Coordination**: Assisting with the recruitment, training, and scheduling of volunteers. This may include conducting volunteer orientations, communicating volunteer opportunities, and tracking volunteer hours.
- **Supporting Leadership and Staff**: Providing administrative support.
These duties require strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Additionally, a passion for the organization's mission and values is often beneficial in this role.
