Volunteer Musicians Needed to Comfort Hospice Patients

Holisticare Hospice is seeking compassionate volunteers who can play an instrument or sing for hospice patients. Whether it's a soothing melody on the guitar or a favorite song gently sung, your music can offer peace, connection, and joy in deeply meaningful moments.

Responsibilities:

• Visit hospice patients in homes or facilities to share live music
• Provide comfort and companionship through your musical presence
• Work collaboratively with the hospice care team to meet patient needs and preferences
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold hospice values

Qualifications:

• Ability to sing or play a musical instrument (all skill levels welcome)
• Kind, patient, and sensitive to the needs of those in hospice care
• Must be 18+ and be willing to pass background checks
