Commitment: Flexible, as little as 1–2 hours per week

AccentCare Hospice is seeking compassionate volunteers to provide direct support and companionship to patients receiving end-of-life care. This is a deeply rewarding opportunity to bring comfort, dignity, and human connection to individuals and families during one of life’s most important journeys.
🤝 What You’ll Do
As a Direct Patient Volunteer, you may:
- Offer friendly conversation and companionship
- Read aloud, play music, or share quiet presence
- Participate in light activities (games, crafts, memory sharing)
- Provide caregiver relief so loved ones can rest or run errands
- Support legacy projects (letters, memory books, storytelling)
- Engage in spiritual or calming practices if welcomed (prayer, reflection, aromatherapy)
No clinical or hands-on medical care is required—just your presence and compassion.

✅ Requirements
- Age 15+ (parental consent required for minors)
- Compassionate, reliable, and respectful of diverse beliefs and backgrounds
- Comfortable visiting patients in homes or care facilities
- Completion of onboarding (background check, TB test, training—provided at no cost)
