Pioneer Valley Hospice & Palliative Care is looking for Veteran volunteers to provide companionship and support to fellow Veterans receiving hospice care throughout Franklin, Hampshire, and Hampden Counties.
A shared military background creates a unique bond that can bring comfort, understanding, and connection during an important stage of life.
As a Veteran Volunteer, you may:
- Visit with Veteran patients
- Share stories and conversation
- Offer companionship and a listening ear
- Participate in Veteran recognition ceremonies
- Help honor those who have served our country
No medical experience is necessary. We provide comprehensive training, ongoing support, and flexible scheduling to fit your availability.
All volunteers complete an orientation and training program, health screening, background check, and required onboarding before being matched with an assignment.
Whether you served for two years or twenty, your presence can make a lasting impact.
Continue your legacy of service—be there for a fellow Veteran when it matters most.
