At Choice Health and Hospice we have a great volunteer program. We train and orient here and then walk you through visiting, spending time, and being a compassionate presence to our patients. Manyof our patients love a good visit, and someone to talk to.
Our Veterans we absolutely love. We want to make them feel important , and that they have our support in this season of their life.
Our patients love visits, love interacting with our volunteers.
Compassionate presence means being in the room. Being present.
If you feel a need to do something purposeful, this could be the right thing for you at this time.

Our volunteer program is a wonderful made with everyday people that do exceptional things.
We start out with you filling out our Volunteer application bundle. Background check, orientation and training here. If you are a student all of this time allotted to signing up, getting paperwork done, counts towards your hours.
We are flexible while moving you forward with our protocol to serve our patients and their families.
Once I receive notification of your interest I can send you our bundle and move you forward in the application process. It isn't hard but we are required by Medicare to move with a protocol.
