Looking for a unique & incredibly rewarding way to serve your local community and make a difference? Hospice & Community Care is seeking volunteers to provide companionship, emotional support, and social connection to patients in our care, either in their private residences or senior nursing facilities.

Volunteer Tasks May Include:

• Visiting patients to bring companionship & comfort
• Reading to patients, playing card games, singing or providing comforting touch
• Staying with patients so caregivers can get a much-needed respite
• Recording & documenting patient's life stories and history

To become a Hospice & Community Care volunteer you just need to have a heart full of compassion and a desire to make a meaningful difference. Training is provided for all prospective volunteers with both in-person and online options offered. A team of dedicated Volunteer Coordinators are available to provide continued support.
