Help Us Recruit Community Leaders Who Will Make a Lasting Impact
Celebrating One is seeking a detail-oriented volunteer with strong writing, graphic design, and Canva skills to create a professional Board Recruitment Packet that will help us attract experienced and passionate members to our Board of Directors.
This is a one-time, project-based volunteer opportunity that will have a lasting impact on our organization's growth and sustainability.
Project Description
The selected volunteer will organize existing content, create a cohesive and visually appealing packet using our Canva Pro account, and prepare a polished, print-ready and digital PDF that reflects Celebrating One's mission and brand.
Most of the content has already been drafted. Additional information can be gathered from our website, existing organizational materials, and shared files in our Google Drive.
Responsibilities
- Design a professional Board Recruitment Packet using our Canva Pro account.
- Organize and format existing content into a visually engaging document.
- Gather additional information from the Celebrating One website and approved Google Drive folders as needed.
- Recommend improvements to layout, flow, and presentation.
- Select appropriate icons, graphics, and page layouts that align with our branding.
- Prepare both print-ready and digital PDF versions.
- Ensure the packet is easy for staff to update in Canva after project completion.

Skills We're Looking For
- Canva experience (required)
- Graphic design or document layout
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience creating nonprofit, corporate, or recruitment materials is preferred
- Ability to organize information into a professional publication
Time Commitment
Estimated project time: 8–12 hours, completed over 2–3 weeks.
