Partnership Intern

YesLiberia is seeking a proactive, collaborative, and relationship-driven Partnership Intern to help grow, manage, and sustain strategic collaborations that empower young people in Liberia through education and opportunity. Working alongside team leads, operations, and cross-functional teams, you will gain hands-on experience in business development, partner stewardship, and nonprofit operations.

Key Responsibilities:

The intern will assist the Strategic Alliance Team (Partnership Team) with:

Research & Prospecting: Identify, research, and perform outreach to prospective partners, including corporations, rotary clubs, educational institutions, alumni networks, foundations, and community organizations.

Relationship Building & Stewardship: Assist in preparing and hosting introductory calls, creating customized pitch decks, drafting partnership proposals/MOUs, and conducting regular check-ins with existing partners.

Database & Systems Management: Maintain the partnership database by logging contact records, communication history, and key performance metrics to ensure seamless operations.

Strategic Collaboration & Meetings: Support the execution of virtual partner meetings, webinars, and donor appreciation initiatives while evaluating partnership success strategies.

Cross-Team Alignment: Collaborate with communications and fundraising teams to gather impact stories, metrics, and partnership highlights for social media, newsletters, and the website.

Team Participation: Attend weekly virtual meetings, assist with task tracking, and contribute to continuous improvement across the partnership pipeline.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.

Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking abilities.

Super proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently within a remote team.

Interest in learning nonprofit management, strategic relationship building, or business development.

Highly result-oriented with a drive to success and complete tasks timely

Existing skills or setup experience with www.monday.com is not required but is a huge plus
