Having a heart is just the beginning here at Heartland Hospice!
Our staff works every day to put Heartland's values of compassion, respect, integrity, teamwork, and excellence into action by being a compassionate presence for our hospice patients and their care givers.
We would like to discover what your values are and put them into action as a hospice volunteer.
Attend a 1-hour volunteer orientation, we like to discuss how your values can be expressed by:
Sharing their beloved pet as a Pet Therapy volunteer
Sharing their talent to play an instrument to provide comfort
Share their skills as an arts and crafts volunteer
Share their administrative skills to organize, collate, and assist with administrative office tasks
Are all just some of ways you can provide a compassionate presence.
We would enjoy hearing how your values are reflected in your daily life ...
