Volunteer for Hospice/Palliative patients

We understand that comfort and passion are important. You are not required to do anything you’re not comfortable with. Instead, we encourage you to be creative and show us your unique skillsets. Love photography? We could use those skills. Love to read books? You can read to our patients. Like to garden? We can support you there as well. We support our volunteers as much as they support us.

We will work around your schedule and accommodate the number of hours you want to volunteer. While we ideally need help during the workday, we also offer opportunities on weekends.

At Angel Hands Hospice, the possibilities for volunteering are truly endless! Here are some of the meaningful and creative activities our volunteers have engaged in:

• Calling bingos and organizing fun games
• Assisting with event setup and preparation
• Filing and organizing paperwork in the office
• Creating social media content for our company
• Painting nails and providing gentle hand massages
• Making quilts and other comforting items for patients
• Helping with gardening and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces
• Assisting patients with arts and crafts projects
• Reading books and sharing stories with patients
• Playing puzzles and engaging in stimulating activities
