Video Editor

Trauma Speaks is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Volunteer Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content that supports our mission and enhances our outreach efforts. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about storytelling, social impact, and multimedia production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw video footage to create engaging, polished content for social media, websites, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with the team to understand project objectives and desired outcomes.
• Enhance video with graphics, animations, transitions, and audio to deliver a professional final product.
• Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all video content.
• Manage video files, organize footage, and maintain an efficient workflow.
• Provide creative input to improve content effectiveness and engagement.

Qualifications:

• Experience with video editing (currently only using Canva for the organization)
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual storytelling.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and sound editing is a plus.
• Passion for the nonprofit sector and mental health.
