Position Title: Community Engagement Volunteer (Office Clean-Up & Moving Support)

Location: On-site at our office, 101 Cowardin Ave, Suite 103B, Richmond, VA. 23224 and nearby storage locations

Time Commitment: Jan 17, 2026 10am to 3pm

Volunteers Needed: 6-10 community volunteers

About the Organization

WoMen of Connections Ministry is an education and human services support, a Non-Profit organization located in Richmond, Virginia. Our organization encourages the international population to develop stronger connections with other members of their community. We believe that through education and community partnerships, we can help develop and empower the voices of those who currently have no voice, to seek prosperity in their community and the world. We educate and support both international and native-born citizens as we empower people of all ages to lead prosperous lives.

About the Opportunity

WoMen of Connections Ministry is seeking dedicated and community-minded volunteers to support an upcoming Community Engagement & Service Day. This hands-on volunteer opportunity allows individuals to give back by helping us prepare and organize our space so we can continue serving our community effectively. Ideal for gaining team building experience.

This experience may qualify as community service hours and is a great opportunity for students, civic groups, faith-based organizations, and anyone looking to make a meaningful impact.

Volunteer Responsibilities

Volunteers will assist with:

• Cleaning and organizing office spaces
• Packing and organizing materials from two storage locations
• Moving boxed items and supplies (light to moderate lifting required)
• Working collaboratively as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently

Who We’re Looking For

• Individuals who enjoy hands-on work and teamwork
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to help where needed
• Ability to lift and move items as needed (with support)
• No prior experience required — training and guidance provided on-site
