"Veteran to Veteran" volunteers needed!

AccentCare Hospice & Palliative Care has volunteer opportunities in our "Veteran to Veteran" program. We are currently in great need of veterans and current military members to provide companionship and support to our hospice patients who are also veterans.

As a volunteer you can provide comfort and companionship through friendly visits, strengthened by the common bond of military service. You will also have the opportunity to participate in "Veteran to Veteran" pinning ceremonies, where we honor our patients' service to our country.

Volunteer training is virtual and screenings are provided at no cost. We care for patients throughout the greater Baltimore area and 8 surrounding communities/counties, so you can visit fellow veterans close to your home or work, and based on your availability.
