Vet to Vet Companionship Volunteers Needed!

Gentiva Hospice-Hendersonville is looking for Veterans who

are interested in volunteering to visit with our Veteran patients. It is so

vital for hospice patients to feel comfortable with our volunteers and to have

common interests. We are looking to build our Veteran to Veteran Companionship

Program and are looking for YOU!

Volunteering takes no advanced medical training or great commitment. It is

small deed of kindness that so profoundly enhance the lived of our patients and

those who love them. Whether you can dedicate two hours a month or two hours a week there is a patient who would appreciate your commitment.

Whether you can dedicate one hour or more we can utilize your talents. All

volunteers will receive training before visiting with patients. Our Veteran to

Veteran Companionship visits are available in Sumner County. Give us a call to

Volunteers will need to be COVID-19 vaccinated and will need to complete a drug screen, background check and TB test (Gentiva will provide)
