We need friendly faces to help greet and check-in for our patient day event on Saturday, February 21st at the Hawaii Convention Center. Job duties entail staying at registration desk to greet attendees, giving out name tags and swag bags, and directing attendees to the event room. Dress is business casual, and the hours are from 9:30am to 4:30pm. Lunch will be provided.
The Sumaira Foundation hosts regional patient day events to allow for local clinicians, patients, and caregivers to gather in-person and learn about their rare diseases, connect with local resources, and oftentimes meet another rare disease patient in-person for the first time.
This event is hosted by The Sumaira Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to generating global awareness of NMOSD (neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder), MOGAD (myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease), and other rare neuroimmune disorders, building communities of support for patients and their caregivers, supporting research and patient advocacy.
