Board Secretary:
This position serves as paid/volunteer member on the Jamal’s Helping Hands member who :
- Is a member of the Board.
- Maintains records of the board and ensures effective management of Jamal’s Helping Hands' records.
- Manages minutes of board meetings.
- Ensures minutes are distributed to members withing three days after each meeting.
- Is sufficiently familiar with legal documents (articles, by-laws, IRS letters, etc.) to note applicability during meetings.
- Support outreach and events.
- Advocates for our case.
