1st and 2nd grade Reading Tutors at Tracey's and Lothian Elementary

STAIR-Annapolis, Start The Adventure In Reading, is a twice-weekly, AFTER SCHOOL literacy tutoring program for Anne Arundel County Public School first and second grade students reading below grade level. Tutors work one-on-one with a student for an hour-fifteen minute long session, and we offer our volunteers the flexibility to choose their level of commitment: one day per week, two days per week, or as a substitute on an as-needed basis. STAIR at Tracey's Elementary is held Monday and Thursday from 2:30-3:45 and STAIR at Lothian is held on Monday and Wednesday from 2:30-3:45. Our program runs from early October to early May. The STAIR program runs from early October to early May. We offer a comprehensive introduction and training for all new volunteers.
