Descrição
Help Us Welcome New Mentees
As The Lantern Network grows, we're connecting with more students eager to join our mentorship community. We're looking for volunteers to support our mentee onboarding process through brief, welcoming interviews.
What You'll Do
Conduct short, informal interviews with prospective mentees to:
- Learn about their goals and interests
- Answer questions about the mentorship experience
- Help them feel welcomed into our community
- Gather information to support strong mentor matches
Time Commitment
~1hr per week
Participate as your schedule allows — no ongoing commitment required
What We're Looking For
- Warm, welcoming communicators
- Current or past volunteers, mentors, or mentees familiar with our program
- Ability to conduct brief video or phone conversations
- Flexible availability
Why This Matters
Your few minutes create a welcoming first impression and help students feel seen as they take this important step. These conversations ensure every mentee enters our program feeling supported from day one.
