Volunteer with Wildlife Jewels® in La Jolla — World Wildlife Day (Art + Wildlife + Community!)

Help Wildlife Jewels® (501(c)(3)) host a free, all-ages community painting activity in La Jolla as part of World Wildlife Day. Volunteers will support an inspiring, artist-led experience that celebrates our local coastal wildlife—from seabirds to seals and tidepool life—while connecting creativity, conservation, and community.

What you’ll do (no art experience needed):

• Welcome guests and help them get started
• Set up/refresh painting stations and distribute materials
• Keep supplies organized and the space tidy
• Assist the artist/educator with simple guidance + encouragement
• Help with light clean-up and packing at the end

Perfect for: College students + community members (18+) who enjoy community events, arts, education, and wildlife conservation.

Why it matters: This hands-on activity helps guests learn about local wildlife and how to protect them—while creating something beautiful to take home.
