ABOUT THE ROLE

Believe in Me is a Washington nonprofit supporting youth and young people through education programs, scholarships, community partnerships, and volunteer expertise. This remote Digital Content Creator will produce accessible, mission-aligned content for iLevelUP and related youth initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL CREATE

Short-form social posts, web articles, email content, graphics, scripts, and campaign assets.

Student-friendly explanations of career, college, scholarship, financial-literacy, and life-readiness topics.

Volunteer recruitment and community-impact stories.

Search-friendly evergreen content that answers common questions clearly.

Platform-specific adaptations for websites, newsletters, and approved social channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow editorial briefs, brand standards, safeguarding practices, and content calendars.

Research topics using credible sources and verify facts before publication.

Use descriptive headlines, structured sections, captions, alt-text guidance, and inclusive language.

Collaborate remotely with content strategy, marketing, design, video, and program volunteers.

Review performance data and improve future content.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

Writing, copywriting, journalism, social media, video scripting, graphic content, education, or nonprofit communications. Familiarity with Canva, WordPress, content-management tools, SEO, accessibility, or analytics is helpful. Students, career changers, and experienced professionals are welcome when they can provide relevant samples.

TIME AND LOCATION

Remote, flexible, and approximately 2–3 hours per week. Ongoing participation is preferred, with individual assignments scoped to volunteer availability.
